English Tea under the Pergola at Yule Love It Lavender
Hours: Fridays from 12-2 p.m., mid-May through August. Advance registration required. Pergola capacity 20 guests; pavilion capacity 50 guests.
English Tea menu: lavender tea of the day (iced or hot, depending on the weather), two homemade lavender scones with preserves and clotted cream: $10 per person.
Luncheon Tea menu: lavender tea of the day, lavender scone with preserves and clotted cream, seasonal salad and lavender dessert. $25 per person. Advance registration required. Pergola capacity: 20. Groups larger than 20 are served in the pavilion, capacity 50.
All teas are served on linen and china. In case of rain, parties of up to 20 are served in Iris's dining room. A rain date is scheduled for groups larger than 20.
Yule Love It Lavender Farm tours
Hours: Wednesday, Friday or Saturday at 10 a.m. (in season), $5 per person for a 40-minute tour. Capacity: 50.
Iris offers farm tours for like-minded lavender lovers who delight in the beauty and benefits of the lady of herbs. Tours include a visit to the greenhouse, lavender fields, handouts and a visit to the Yule Love It Gift Shoppe. Garden clubs, herb societies, senior groups, 4-H groups, Girl Scouts, study groups and people seeking an engagement with tranquility are welcome. The landscape is rolling, so please wear your walking shoes.
Tea and Tour Twosome
Combine a tea with a farm tour for groups up to 50. Total cost for English Tea and Tour is $15 per person. Total cost for Luncheon Tea and Tour is $30 per person. Tea and Tour Twosome by paid reservation only. No refunds if canceled less than five days before scheduled visit.
